Summary: Some clients like to pay by check and when Carol receives/deposits that check, she’ll post a copy of the check into Evernote.Note: If this is a check from MTVAC, no payment information will need to be applied to Stripe.
Note: each invoice is numbers, and the checks often reference those invoice numbers:

this is helpful for cross-referencing the checks in Evernote.
Step one – Client site:
- Go to the client site, Clients page
- Find the client that sent us a check and click on the Stripe icon on the right side
Step two – Stripe:
- Once Stripe pops up with the correct client, scroll down to the “Invoices” section and select the correct invoice.
- Click on the three dots to expand options
- Select “Change invoice status”
4. Click the radio button next to “Paid
5.In the “Add internal note” box, enter the check # and the date on the check.
6. Click “Update status”
7. Scroll down to “Metadata” > click “edit” button on right of screen
8. In the first box, type: “Check #”. In the second box, type the check number.
9. Click “Save”.
