The issues:
We are moving all of our clients to Fathom Analytics from Google analytics due to GDPR.
At the same time that we are doing this, we are changing our pricing structure. The new pricing structure will look at plans through a “maintain”, “growth”, and “support” and “team” model.
New Pricing
Here are the new pricing tables.
Maintain – Is simply maintaining. It keeps it alive. Does not worry about growth and just keeps it subsisting. Analytics is not included in this new plan unless they pay for support and ask us to add it then we are happy to do so.
Growth – This plan has features to help agencies grow. Analytics helps people see how their site is performing and made modifications and grow. Fathom analytics is included in this plan at no charge to the client. We will keep them on GA only if they ask us to.
Support – This is growth plus support time
Team – This is support time that is a lot of support (like for an entire team).
Impact to Site Audits
One thing that this will negatively impact is our site audit report. The current MyWebAudit report has a very nice integration with Google Analytics and it does not integrate with Fathom. However, it doesn’t mean we cannot provide them with a fathom report at the same time we send them the audit. They will just get two separate reports. It was really nice to have the beautifully designed and styled report inside of the audit report, but when you weigh everything out, this is something that is probably worth the trade.
Transition
This is how the transition will look…
- Maintain plan – If we build it, they get GA set up as a part of the build process. If it is just a mgmt client, then we will set up GA ONLY if they request it is done with support time.
- Growth plan – Until FA gets their import feature done, we run GA and FA parallel. After that, we add them to FA only, advise against GA and only add to GA if they ask using support time.
- Support time – Same
- Team Time – Same
Next Steps
We will begin notifying clients of this change and will also work on a waiver form for them to sign.
Here is the email that we will begin sending.
