Sharing and receiving passwords and sensitive info

As we all know, passwords and other sensitive items should never be sent through email. Our clients do not always understand this, so it is our job to educate and model this for them.

Whenever a client wants to send us information, or when we send information, we should encourage them to use the “one-time secret” tool that is available at https://onetimesecret.com/. When creating a “secret”, make sure to NOT use the additional passphrase because it sometimes confuses the client. Add the information and then create a secret link.

There is a saved reply that you can use to tell clients about this service.
